At the moment, Mise consists of just myself: Raven. I'm the only 'employee,' although I do enjoy the occasional company of some friends to help me with my blind spots.
I'm a Nova Scotia native who moved to B.C. in 2008 to start a new life. After finishing my Diploma for Digital Art & Design at Thompson-Rivers University, I moved to Vancouver & quickly fell in love with the 'industry' here.
Starting as a busser, I've moved my way through the whole spectrum: Server, Bartender, Bar Manager, Floor Manager, General Manager, Sales/Growth Rep (for First Table & FromTo), and finally, Mise, to combine my love of the service industry with the skills I learned in school.
I've always said that even if I were a millionaire, I would still Bartend or Serve at least once a week. For now, that's for the best, as Mise is new & still growing.
My focus is to bring the meticulousness of a well-run dinner service into the design sector.
